THE
FORTUNE SOCIETY
PROGRAM
The Fortune Society Foundation Eye on the Sky program offers cultural experiences that students in low-income communities would not otherwise have. We do this by coordinating field trips to art museums, and shows; organizing immersive school outings that expose students to a broad range of culture and possibilities. With cultivated mindsets, children are better prepared to take on the world and give back to their communities. These field trips are designed to open and expand student perspectives through a curated educational and cultural experience.
For students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, exposure to museums can cultivate a love for learning and curiosity that extends beyond formal education. Students from low-income families may face educational challenges, and museums can play a role in sparking a lifelong interest in exploring the world and acquiring knowledge.
