SUPER MINDS

Doing well in school can set a student on a lifelong path to success. The Fortune Society's Super Minds program helps remove systemic barriers and gives children the tools to thrive, academically, emotionally, and socially. For many youth in historically under-resourced neighborhoods, access to free, one-on-one academic support is limited. Without it, falling behind can quickly lead to frustration, lower confidence, and missed opportunities. Super Minds is a year-round tutoring club designed to close the high school-to-college gap and improve GPA and graduation rates among BIPOC youth. We provide free, one-on-one and small-group tutoring in language arts and mathematics for students in grades 6–12. Led by in-person certified educators, our sessions go beyond subject comprehension to build strong study habits, academic discipline, and lasting confidence in the classroom.

Super Minds program doesn't just support youth academically, it nurtures them as whole individuals. Through leadership development and emotional support, students gain structure, encouragement, and the self-belief they need to succeed in school and prepare for college. By reducing academic stress and exposing youth to a broader world of opportunity, Super Minds program empowers them to become lifelong learners, engaged citizens, and confident decision-makers, ready to thrive in any path they choose.
