The Fortune Society is a Black women-led and founded organization dedicated to expanding access to the arts, mentorship, cultural enrichment, and academic support for school-aged youth across Los Angeles County. We believe every young person deserves opportunities to explore their creativity, discover their strengths, and access the knowledge and support needed to thrive.

Through the arts, mentorship, cultural field trips, and academic enrichment, we create opportunities for young people to learn, express themselves, and grow. We intentionally connect youth with diverse people, cultures, perspectives, and lived experiences, recognizing that meaningful exposure can broaden understanding, foster empathy, strengthen confidence, and help young people develop a deeper understanding of themselves and humanity.
